Sketchbook Project: Entry 1

I've finally started my Sketchbook Project 2012 book, themed 'In 10 minutes'. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I'm going to try and complete each entry within 10 minutes. Although I should probably stipulate that because I work mostly in watercolor I don't think that amount of time can include drying time or I won't get much more than a splash of color across the page.

In addition to the time restriction I've decided that I'm going to illustrate what I wear each day. So the finished book will be a little story of my outfits, which generally reflect my mood, the weather, and what I have on at work that day.

I call this first outfit my little French ensemble. With those colors it could easily be American too I suppose, but with the little flats and capri pants I always feel like I could turn the corner and find myself under the Eiffel Tower.
